Corinne's "How To Use Dreamweaver" |
Welcome! |
||||||||||
The purpose of this web-page is to help students understand how to use the program Macromedia Dreamweaver. (This is the program we will be using to make our Louisiana Writers web-page that will count as our exam grade.) Much (not all) of the information in this site contains directions that are somewhat common sense, or things you know generally how to do by looking at the program or from using other programs. This Web site is here just to help, in case you don't get it. At the same time that this site provides directions about using Dreamweaver, it is also an example (not in information content, but layout, etc.) for the Web site that we will be making. Above, there is a navigation bar that contains the directions for making a Web site If you think you know how to do it all, be sure you visit the "Getting Started" page. This page will take you through the steps of setting up a site that you will be able to publish. DO NOT SKIP THIS! Please! Don't be a know-it-all for a few minutes and follow the directions there. Once you are done with that, you can go do whatever you want. We wouldn't want you to have to start all over because you didn't do it correctly the first time, right? Thank you. I hope this Web site helps with your Web site! Good luck! and have fun! Oh, and don't forget to SAVE OFTEN! Just in case you happen to get the blue screen of death. This program does not automatically recover any work you have done, so save often. Once you have saved the page once, you can simply press CTRL + S every few minutes to prevent losing your work. Now that we've reviewed that, let's GET STARTED! |
