Lower School 2005 Summer Reading List

READING ROAD TRIP

Lower School will be taking a short road trip down the street this summer. We will be on a journey to a new place with new adventures and experiences. We will pack science books for journeys into the future. Books about history and historical fiction will take us on great adventures into the past. Books about fantasy and fairy tales will prepare us for the wonder and excitement of our journey. And, of course, we need poetry and music books to keep us in rhythm, with songs to sing. We must not forget our fiction books that prepare our hearts for the journey.

Attached is the summer reading list. Each class has a required number of books to read over the summer. To participate in our Summer Reading Road Trip event, students must submit their signed reading log during the first week of school. The books listed are suggested titles. Additional books may be chosen from the Public Library and/or bookstores.
