Mr. Owen Hopkins, uncle to one of our third grade girls, came to Sacred Heart to share his geological knowledge with us.  Mr. Hopkins came to visit us from the Corpus Christi Geological Society.  He did a wonderful and amusing presentation on the geological formation of the United States.  The girls laughed, participated, and took notes while Mr. Hopkins spoke.  My Hopkins also donated two beautiful copies of maps titled "A Tapestry of Time and Terrain."
