2002 District Champions - Three-peat as State Volleyball Champions and 10th State Championship Overall.
Volleyball is one of the most successful sports at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Through the hard work and dedication of Coaches Mike Barnes, Matthew Althage and Christian Vaicius, the team has become one on the most dominant teams in Louisiana. The team has won their 10th State Championship in school history and the last 3 in a row. The top players have competed for and attained volleyball scholarships to colleges and universities all over the United States.
